Off-road and performance trims of the F-150 sometimes have bed features that standard tonneau covers don’t account for. Here’s what to check before buying for a Tremor, Raptor, or Lightning.
F-150 Tremor
The Tremor uses the standard F-150 bed with reinforced tie-downs in most configurations, so fitment is generally the same as other 2021-2026 trims. The main consideration is confirming bed length, since the Tremor is only offered with a 5.5-foot bed.
F-150 Raptor
The Raptor’s bed is functionally similar to the standard F-150, but its higher ride height and more aggressive use case make low-profile hard folding or retractable covers a better match than soft roll-up covers, which can flex more at higher speeds on rough terrain.
F-150 Lightning
The Lightning’s bed dimensions match the gas-powered F-150, but its frunk (front trunk) changes how owners typically use bed space, often for larger or bulkier items since smaller gear goes up front. A hard folding or retractable cover with a strong load rating is generally the better pick. Always confirm the cover doesn’t interfere with any Lightning-specific bed accessories like the onboard power outlets.
